Optimize your Adblock Plus filter list

One of the biggest criticisms of Adblock Plus by Adblock supporters has always been that Plus caused a lot of conflicts due to its filter subscriptions and often duplicate user filter list. However, it seems like some of that heat can finally be deflected now that gHacks has an excellent guide on how to optimize Adblock Plus’ filter list. It eliminates duplicate entries and tries to consolidate all the other entries to remove any redundancies. The end result is that a lot of excess should be removed and any conflicts should, hopefully, be resolved. The optimization is lighting-fast and also seems to be highly efficient - my report reads:
