Freeware application WMWifiRouter allows you to easily use your phone’s network data plan on your laptop. This is an excellent solution for anybody who’s traveling and has an unlimited data plan. No longer is there any need to go through the long process of trying to convince your phone to tether properly; just install WMWifiRouter on your Windows Mobile 6 device, connect to the ad-hoc network it creates, and you’re ready to go. The developer’s site warns that the software is still under “heavy development” but it already looks very promising.
